Downballot Workplan
The work, organized once.
A campaign is a hundred small commitments made by people who are doing this after work. Workplan is where they live: personal enough to actually use, shared enough that nothing depends on one person remembering.
Yours
A list that is only yours.
Personal tasks are not visible to your organization, your project members, or an administrator. They are the reason people keep using the tool between meetings.
- Inbox
- Everything you have captured and not yet decided about. The place a thought goes at 11pm so it is not lost by morning.
- Today and Upcoming
- What is due, in your own timezone rather than the server's, so a task due today does not read as overdue because the database is already on tomorrow.
- All My Tasks
- Everything assigned to you across every project and every organization you belong to, in one list.
- Logbook
- What you finished, and when. Useful in October, and more useful in the debrief afterwards.
Shared
And a board the team can trust.
Project work sits beside your personal list rather than in a different application, so there is one place to look and one place to add something.
- Projects and boards
- Columns you name, cards you drag, and a column that marks work complete. Private to the people you add until you decide otherwise.
- Recurring work
- Weekly canvass prep, monthly filings, the call you make every Tuesday. Two modes: on a fixed schedule, or when the last one is finished.
- Checklists, comments and history
- Sub-steps inside a task, discussion beside it, and a record of who changed what, written only when something actually changed.
- Search and quick add
- Search spans every organization you belong to. Quick add reads a date out of what you typed, and leaves it alone when it is ambiguous rather than guessing.
On the roadmap
Export, before the beta opens.
Engage exports contacts and businesses as CSV today. Workplan's export is being built and will be in place before the first organization is onboarded, because "you can take your data with you" is a promise we would rather keep than qualify.
Both apps, one application.
Workplan comes with Engage. Every organization in the beta gets both, free while it runs.
